Ange Schriber

Ange started waterskiing at the age of 5 and has represented South Africa since the age of 12. Ange broke the slalom, trick and jump record for South Africa then went to the USA to train. Here she discovered wakeboarding and fell in love. Ange currently competes in the cable comps as the cable park is 10 minutes away from where she lives in Cairns, Australia. Ange also trains at Tinarroo Dam in Cairns with her X- STAR BOAT.

Greatest achievements/results to date: 1st place in Cairns Cable Pro Tour and Overall 1st Place 2009. CWC CABLE WORLDS 3rd Place 2008

Heroes/inspirational people: My dad was an inspiration, he pushed me to succeed and was always by my side. My coach Gary Botha from South Africa and the crew from Cairns who push me to achieve.

Travel…….?: Been around the globe since an early age travelling with my parents and competed oversease since the age of 12 in various countries for waterskiing and wakebaording

Goals for the future: I would like to win the Cable World Champs, learn an S Bend and a whole lot of other tricks, and hopefully get back into boat riding.
